Our Giving Societies honor the individuals who make a lasting impact through their support across the university. Whether you're making your first gift, giving monthly, or planning a legacy, there's a place for you in our donor community.
Flagship First
The Flagship First Society recognizes a donor's first gift to the university. Those who have stepped up to join our community of impact for the first time are encouraged to learn more about the difference their gift can make and deepen their relationship with UMass Amherst.
Mass Momentum Society
The Mass Momentum Society recognizes donors who sign up for a recurring, monthly gift for at least one year. Society members are recognized for their continuous support through various forms of communication and engagement opportunities.
1863 Loyalty Society
The 1863 Loyalty Society recognizes total years of support for UMass Amherst, beginning at 5 years. Society members are recognized through various communications and engagement opportunities.
Chancellor’s Society
The Chancellor’s Society recognizes donors who contribute $2,000 or more in a year. Members of this society are recognized through various forms of communication and engagement opportunities and are invited to the annual Chancellor’s Donor Appreciation Breakfast during Homecoming.
William Smith Clark Society
The William Smith Clark Society recognizes individuals who have designated UMass Amherst Foundation as a beneficiary of their estate plans through any planned giving vehicle. Members are invited to the Chancellor’s Donor Appreciation Breakfast during Homecoming Weekend, receive full access to planned giving professionals, invitations to other special events and seminars, and a subscription to the foundation’s stewardship newsletter.
