You’ve made an impact. Here’s how.

“Karen and Chuck Peters support of this professorship, in particular, has enabled me to deepen my research that develops algorithms and models for optimization of supply chain processes and operations, and to enhance the knowledge and skills that my Operations & Information Management majors require to be effective business leaders. I am deeply grateful for this support.”

AGHA IQBAL ALI
Karen and Chuck Peters Family Endowed Professor

“Here at UMass I have been thrilled to be able to take every opportunity that comes my way, both in the classroom and outside of it. The Maureen Flanagan Scholarship enabled me to continue my dream of working with animals and participate in the study abroad experience of a lifetime. My amazing memories from this trip will always be intertwined with extreme gratitude.”

OLIVIA ARNOLD ‘24
Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Science
College of Natural Sciences

“Our mission is to build on Ellsberg’s legacy by promoting public understanding, scholarship, and activism in support of compelling, democratic, and sustainable alternatives to militarism, authoritarianism, and environmental degradation. I’m thrilled that we have established an endowed fund with the goal of building a permanent Ellsberg Institute.”

CHRISTIAN APPY
Professor of History and Director of the Ellsberg Initiative

“In my college education, I am discovering avenues for expression that I had never before considered. I’ve always wanted to be a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to creative pursuits, and animating for film and games combines my interests in all aspects of storytelling into a cohesive whole: I can craft narratives, draw and model characters and environments, consider camera angles and viewer experience, and engineer soundscapes—all through one established medium. And despite deciding on a single major, I haven’t stopped making the most of outside opportunities that expand my views and provide unexpected inspiration.”

T.J. LALONDE ’24
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation
